 <description>Eric Lane Barnes, composer, musician, and assistant artistic director for the Seattle Men’s Chorus and Captain Smartypants, has been working on a collection of instrumental music. The concept is that the music is a soundtrack for a movie that doesn’t exist. Yet… Guest musicians on the project include Paul Rosenberg on vocals and <a href="http://www.finisterra.org/about-kevin.html">Kevin Krentz</a> on cello.

 <title>Michael Tomlinson, &quot;The Way Out West&quot;</title>
 <link>http://www.michaeltomlinson.com/west/west.htm</link>
 <description>Michael Tomlinson is a well-known name in this neck of the woods. The singer-songwriter that hails from Texas but has called Seattle home for the last 20 plus years has released his first full band CD in over a decade. Michael, who had Top-10 national hits getting airplay in the early 90&apos;s, brought in some incredibly gifted musicians to perfectly frame his lyrical guitar parts and poetry.

Nearly two years in the studio can make for some pretty nice sounding tracks. We&apos;re especially proud of this one.

 <title>Rick Waldron, &quot;The Heart of the Matter&quot;</title>
 <link>http://rickwaldron.com/samples.html</link>
 <description>
Rick is a talented multi-instrumentalist and composer. This is his second CD to come out of Audio Logic, and Rick plays piano, bass, trombone, guitar, synth and percussion. Rick asked in some notable guests, such as Seattle&apos;s Thomas Marriott on trumpet and flugelhorn.
 Rick&apos;s main instrument is piano, and he really put the Yamaha C3 through it&apos;s paces with some very interesting original pieces, and a great standard.

 <title>New Equipment and Upgrades</title>
 <link>http://www.audiologicinc.com/equip.html</link>
 <description>
Major upgrade for the piano - new hammers! Our Yamaha C3 is one of the best assets of the studio, so it was time to make an investment in the instrument.
 Audio Logic piano tech Joe Goheen spent two days installing the hammers, regulating the action, then voicing and tuning the piano.
 It sounds absolutely fantastic. Artists notice the difference right away, and new clients have made comment on what a nice instrument it is.
 Money well spent! Joe returned recently for another tuning and did some further tweaking to improve the tone.

Yamaha Silent Violin - OK, so it&apos;s not totally silent, but it does have a nice built in pickup and reverb. As with all Audio Logic instruments, it is available for use to any client.
