Over the last ten years, personal computers have become cheaper and more powerful. Now it's easier and more economical for musicians to do their recording at home, where the pressure of seeing time and money tick away at the studio is not an issue.

At Audio Logic, we are aware of this trend, and have adapted by offering our expertise in areas where the home recordist may not have the level of experience they feel necessary to create a product that will compete commercially.

This usually involves mixing, the process in which all the individual tracks are brought together into a cohesive, well balanced and good sounding musical statement. Mixing is an art, and requires many years of trial and error, and lots of practise to perfect.

For this reason, many of the projects our clients have recorded at home are brought here to the studio for final mixdown. Another reason they come here is that even the most powerful home computers do not have the DSP resources necessary for a complex mix. It is very easy to take the tracks you've painstakingly recorded at home and bring them in on disk for transfer into our Digital Audio Workstation for mixing.

You may also need the space of a big studio for tracking live drums, or access to a real piano or Hammond organ to complete your music. We offer that, too!
